A missing 9-year-old girl in Auburn, Massachusetts, has been found safe, according to local police, bringing relief to the community after a brief search.
The child was last seen walking behind Bryn Mawr School toward a wooded area on Swanson Road, prompting concern and a call for public assistance. Authorities began searching after she failed to return home, with multiple resources deployed to help locate her.
In an update shared later the same day, Auburn police confirmed that the girl had been located “safe and sound” and was with a loved one. Officials also stated that she was never in danger during the incident.
